Dr. B enjoys bringing out your child's sweetest smile.

Dr. B takes pride in spending quality time with children in order to help them relax and have fun so they will look forward to returning. By following children through regular six-month re-care appointments, he and his staff establish long-lasting relationships with their child patients. Dr. B enjoys nourishing these relationships by caring for them through adolescence into young adulthood. After high school graduation, a child graduates from this pediatric dental practice. That enriching relationship helps your child feel comfortable with a dentist throughout his or her adult life.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a child's first dental visit be at the age of 6 months to 12 months of age.

Dr. B understands children. As a father of two young children, he treats all children as his own. He suggests that parents bring their children to the dentist regularly, beginning with an infant oral health exam. Dr. B can recommend a specific program of brushing, flossing, and other treatments. These home treatments, when added to regular dental visits and a balanced diet, will help give your child a lifetime of healthy habits.

Dr. B's Cavity-Free Club: For a honey of a smile!

To help your child enjoy good dental health, use the following steps:

  • Beware of frequent snacking.

  • Brush effectively twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste

  • Floss once a day

  • Have sealants applied at the appropriate time

  • Seek regular dental check-ups

  • Assure proper fluoride through drinking water, fluoride products or fluoride supplements.

Your child's first set of teeth, the primary teeth, are extremely important. Strong, healthy primary teeth help your child chew food easily, learn to speak clearly, and look good.
